Youth teams may practice on those diamonds, but are instructed (1) NOT to set up a youth-size diamond and/or play on the infield grass, so as not to ruin the infield, and (2) if a high school or Senior League team arrives for a practice or game, the Youth team must depart immediately.

Volunteer Field
This is adjacent to the main Chelmsford Youth Baseball complex on Route 110 - you probably know where it is, right near the center of town, at the intersection of Fletcher Street and Chelmsford Street (Route 110). The 110 complex includes three youth-sized fields there for kids 12 and under, and one other full size (Senior League dimensions) field, which is Volunteer Field.

Because the parking for the 110 Fields is limited, we ask that when your child is playing at Volunteer, please park in the lot that is along the first base line at the side of Volunteer Field. Besides, that lot is more convenient to the bleachers at Volunteer Field than is the 110 parking lot. The parking for Volunteer is accessible via the nameless street between Wilson Street and the youth-sized fields.

Location/Directions:
From the center of town (formerly known as Kamikaze Corner) proceed northeast on Chelmsford Street (Route 110) about ¼ mile. After passing Papa Gino’s and Wilson Street, you’ll see a softball field on your right. Immediately after the softball field, turn right onto the unnamed street. Volunteer Field and parking will be on your left.

Then take your third right onto Grant Street, and follow it to the end; you'll see the field right in front of you. Turn left or right onto Adams St and look for parking. Parking is a bit scarce, so be sure to pay attention to the posted signs.
