The Senior League is for players ages 13, 14 and 15. The Senior League is divided into 2 divisions - Senior A and Senior B. Tryouts for Senior A is in September, usually during the first weekend after Labor Day. The teams then select players in March of the new baseball year. Those players selected will be notified at that time. Players who are selected stay with their team until they turn a baseball age 16 when they move to the U18 Division. Those players who tried out but were not selected by a team will be automatically placed on a Senior B Division team.
Senior A is a competitive league and plays other teams in the Minuteman Baseball League, including teams from Westford, Acton, Littleton, Maynard and Sudbury. Players typically practice 1 to 2 times per week and play 2 weekend games each week from the beginning to mid April through the beginning of June.
The Senior B teams also play in the Minuteman League in a more developmental and recreational focused division. Players typically practice 1 to 2 times per week and play 1 to 2 weekend games each week from the beginning to mid April through the beginning of June.
Game jerseys and hats are provided by the League. Pants, belts, socks, bats, batting helmets, gloves and protective cup are the responsibility of each individual player. Each team has batting helmets to be shared by the team in cases where a player does not have their own at the game or practice.
